The hottest day on record ! Tuross 18 Jan 2013
A week earlier, temperatures in Sydney had broken all records. Then came Jan 18, and they were broken all over again. We were staying at Rosedale on the NSW South Coast, between Batemans Bay and Moruya.
The temperature in Moruya at 2:28 pm was 45.5 degrees Celsius!
We went in search of somewhere watery to cool off, and found ourselves at Tuross.

Lots of memories here. Back in the 1970s my parents rented the same accomodation at Tuross Heads in January for about five years running for whoever in the family wanted to turn up.
Judging from your photo, the properties behind the main beach doesn't seem to have changed. I seem to recall future development at the time was planned to be along the road in.
